Howard Massey is the executive editor of the Yamaha Music USA blog. He is a longtime journalist and music industry consultant who formerly served as an editor with Musician and Performing Songwriter magazines. He has authored hundreds of online and print articles as well as more than a dozen books, including "The Great British Recording Studios" and the two-part "Behind the Glass" collections of interviews with the world’s leading record producers. Howard was also privileged to co-author legendary Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick’s 2006 autobiography "Here, There and Everywhere." He lives in New York.
