About Pete Lyman

Pete Lyman is the Principal Engineer and owner of Infrasonic Mastering, overseeing both audio and vinyl operations. Pete first opened Infrasonic’s doors in 2005, working with numerous indie artists, including No Age, Best Coast and Lord Huron. In 2017, he relocated from Los Angeles to Nashville and opened Infrasonic East. The facility houses two full-service mastering suites and a dedicated cutting room, enabling true analog mastering. Pete’s mastering work can be heard on the Grammy award-winning “By The Way, I Forgive You” by Brandi Carlile (Best Americana Album, 2019), “The Nashville Sound” by Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit (Best Americana Album, 2018), Chris Stapleton’s “From A Room, Vol 1” (Best Country Album, 2018) and Traveller (Best Country Album 2016). Other clients include Tanya Tucker, Halsey, Sturgill Simpson, Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, The Stray Cats and The Highwomen.
