A global collaborator, Arthur Hanlon is the most successful Latin instrumentalist today, with multiple hits on the Billboard charts, including three top 10s and a No. 1, two HBO music specials, and a long list of stunning duets and solo hits. Born in Detroit to Irish parents, he discovered Latin music as a teenager and never turned back, collaborating with the biggest Latin stars on the planet. A virtuoso with degrees from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in piano performance from the Manhattan School of Music, Hanlon plays a distinctive blend of Detroit street, classical virtuosity, and Latin beats and has recorded singles with Laura Pausini, Marc Anthony, Juanes, Carlos Vives, Ozuna, Fonseca, Orishas, Lunay and Angela Aguilar, among many others.
Arthur’s newest album, “2 Manos, 1 Mundo,” is an EP of extraordinary collabs, featuring all original duets with superstars like Ángela Aguilar, Carlos Vives, Manuel Medrano and Yotuel.
Arthur most recently performed the dazzling Goodbye featuring Carlos Vives and Goyo on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. First single Repetimos, featuring Yotuel and Darell, was selected as a Zumba global track and reached the top 10 of Billboard’s tropical charts, where it spent 17 weeks. Bala Perdida, featuring Ángela Aguilar, premiered at Premio Lo Nuestro, was a global trending video on YouTube and spent 16 weeks on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay chart.
Arthur’s beautiful and timeless collections of audiovisual content include his Piano y Mujer and Piano y Mujer II, two spectacular albums and HBO specials featuring powerful female voices. Piano y Mujer features Kany García, GOYO, Natalia Jiménez, Nella and Evaluna Montaner; Piano y Mujer II features Ivy Queen, Ha*Ash, Lupita Infante, Catalina García and Debi Nova.
In his landmark PBS special Encanto del Caribe, Arthur invited friends Laura Pausini, Marc Anthony and Natalia Jiménez to the first TV special filmed inside historic Castillo de San Cristobal in Puerto Rico.
And his Christmas specials and Legados series — paying homage to top hits in different Latin genres—have found him a broad following across countries around the world.
Arthur has recorded 9 albums. He is signed to Sony Music Latin and plays Yamaha Pianos.
