ABOUT

Daniel Pardo is an award‑winning flutist, composer, and producer whose performances fuse classical traditions, jazz, and Latin American music with global influences and technology. A Yamaha Performing Artist and member of the Texas Touring Roster, he has collaborated with Grammy‑winning producers K.C. Porter (Santana, Ricky Martin) and J.B. Eckl (Santana, En Vogue), as well as acclaimed artists including Jeff Coffin, Karen Briggs, and Jake Shimabukuro.

Daniel’s 2024 album Ese Momento, a re‑imagining of Latin American boleros, earned two Gold Medals from the Global Music Awards and the Absolute First Prize and Innovation Award at the Beethoven International Competition UK. His work as a soloist and ensemble musician has been featured at major venues and festivals, including the Silkroad Global Musician Workshop, World Flute Society Convention, International Low Flutes Festival, and multiple National Flute Association Conventions.

Currently Associate Professor of Flute and Interim Department Head of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Prairie View A&M University, Daniel combines performance excellence with a commitment to education and community engagement. He founded the PVAMU International Flute Festival, attracting artists and students from more than ten countries, and serves as Program Chair for the 2026 National Flute Association Convention in Portland, OR.

Equally active in the studio and on stage, Daniel has appeared on over 40 recordings and is in demand as a producer and guest artist for orchestral, jazz, and world music projects in the U.S. and Europe. His performances are recognized for their expressive range, cultural depth, and ability to connect with audiences across genres.
