Born in Napoli, Italy, Gianluca started playing drums at the age of 12. His private studies included Sergio di Natale, Maxx Furian, Chuck Silverman, Ed Roscetti and Donny Gruendler etc. He was awarded the Carlos Vega Memorial Scholarship 2006 and the Outstanding Player Achievement Award 2007 (PIT‚ Musicians Institute) Since 2013 Gianluca has been the Drum Instructor at the MUSICIANS INSTITUTE in Hollywood, California. He has performed and recorded with many international artists such as: Greg Howe, Maragold, David Garfield, Jimmy Earl, Shayna Steele Band, Luis Conte, Jenifer Batten, David Cook,For the Record Live, Rumer Willis, Stu Hamm, Airto Moreira, Lenny Castro, Mike Miller, Neil Stubenhaus, Reggie Hamilton, Jeff Richman, Greg Adams, Jude Golde, Walt Fowler and many others.
