Yamaha Performing Artist, Dr. John Bryant is a native of Asheville, NC. John has performed in more than 35 US states, 10 countries, and has been broadcast across the globe on HBO, NPR, and on every major music streaming service. His performance positions include Second Trumpet in the Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra, Second Trumpet in The Atlanta Pops Orchestra, and Cornetist in Atlanta Ragtime Band. In addition to being a well-known member of Atlanta’s vibrant freelance music scene, John also teaches a private studio of students.
John has performed in every imaginable genre with such artists as T.I., Ludacris, Deltron3030, Don McLean, Johnny Mathis, Sutton Foster, Leslie Odom Jr., The Temptations, Balsam Range, The Indigo Girls, Lecrae, Chris Tomlin, and many others.
