Kevin Gebo is an internationally acclaimed trumpeter known for his versatile career. Based in the Washington, D.C. area, he serves as Principal Trumpet for The U.S. Army Brass Quintet and the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra.
His performances have taken him across the globe, including Canada, Austria, Australia, Germany, Italy, Korea, and Finland. He was the principal trumpet on the Naxos recording of William Bolcom’s Songs of Innocence and Experience, which won four Grammy Awards, including Best Classical Album. Kevin has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has performed with renowned artists such as John Legend, The Who, Idina Menzel, and Andrea Bocelli. He also leads the Brass Quintet at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, regularly featured on televised services.
Widely respected as an educator, he is a regular guest at universities across the country, giving masterclasses and workshops to aspiring musicians. Kevin earned degrees from the University of Michigan (BM), UCLA (MM), and The Catholic University of America (DMA).
