Leticia Alessandra Ledesma retired as Head Band Director at HF Stevens Middle School in Crowley ISD, where her bands consistently received superior ratings and sweepstakes awards, in addition to receiving several “Outstanding Teacher” awards. She currently maintains a successful flute studio consisting of students throughout the DFW metroplex. Leticia remains active as an adjudicator and presents clinics in public and private schools throughout Texas. Her flute students have received TMEA, ATSSB and TPSMEA All State recognition as well as outstanding solo awards at the UIL TSSEC.
Leticia’s K-12 music education degree is from Texas Tech University. Her teachers include Michael Stoune, Margaret Redcay, Anna Whitlock Henry, and Mary Karen Clardy, and her mentors include James Sudduth, Keith Bearden, Ed Martinez, Bob Conaway, and Rudy Salazar.
In her spare time, Leticia enjoys playing with her puppies and kitties. Her hobbies include going to the gym and photographing birds, especially hummingbirds.
