Manny Pedregon is an energetic and passionate drummer from the border town of Agua Prieta, Sonora Mexico, and Douglas, Arizona. A Self-taught drummer, Manny gained international popularity via YouTube gaining over 28,000,000 views. Manny has built a great reputation among drummers in the industry. Manny was discovered as a prominent drummer at an early age and has been featured in world renowned “Modern Drummer Magazine” and has appeared in multiple international interviews. Manny’s drumming is mainly influenced by Stewart Copeland, Alex Gonzales, Tommy Aldridge and Oscar Lara of Los Tigres Del Norte. Manny has taken these four elements to consolidate his own unique style of playing and taking it to another level influencing a younger generation of drummers. Manny was provided with a once in a lifetime opportunity to produce and manage a unique concept band called The Ransom. This consists of different musicians from different countries creating their own music without knowing each other. Manny wrote music, co–wrote lyrics, and produced the album to its entirety. The Ransom debut album titled “Prisoners of the Island” was released after a three-year process on April 30, 2019 being distributed on the top digital platforms The album reached popularity and air time in “Sirius XM – Liquid Metal” Hosted by Jose Mangin, and album was considered for Grammy Nomination in 2020 under three categories – “Album of the Year” | “Best New Artist” | and “Rock Album”. He currently works as a first call session musician in Sonic Ranch Studios in Tornillo, Texas when he is not touring or collaborating with other musicians.
