ABOUT

Manny Pedregon is an energetic and passionate drummer from the border towns of Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, and Douglas, Arizona. He is a self-taught drummer who gained international popularity on YouTube with over 28 million views. Manny has built a strong reputation among drummers in the industry. Discovered as a prominent drummer at an early age, he has been featured in Modern Drummer magazine and in multiple international interviews. Manny’s drumming is mainly influenced by Stewart Copeland, Alex Gonzales, Tommy Aldridge, and Oscar Lara of Los Tigres Del Norte. He blends these influences into his own unique style, working to take it to another level and inspire a younger generation of drummers.

Manny received a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to produce and manage a unique concept band called The Ransom. Musicians from different countries created their own music without knowing one another. He wrote music, co-wrote lyrics, and fully produced the album. The Ransom debuted with Prisoners of the Island in April 2019, after a three-year process, and distributed it across top digital platforms. The album gained popularity and airtime on Sirius XM’s Liquid Metal, hosted by Jose Mangin, and received consideration for a Grammy Nomination in 2020 in three categories: Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Rock Album.

He currently works as a first-call session musician at Sonic Ranch Studios in Tornillo, Texas, when not touring or collaborating with other musicians.
