Stanton Lewis, a Yamaha Keyboard Artist with a deep passion for music, has a rich history of love for the art form. As a family man who cherishes his faith, love for people, and music, Stan’s journey began at a young age. He started playing the drums at the tender age of two and later transitioned to the piano at five. His musical prowess was further honed when he began playing the organ for his grandparents’ church, Bread of Life Church Of God In Christ in Compton, California. Stan’s professional career took off when he accompanied the late and legendary Natalie Cole. Stan vividly remembers their performance of “Amazing Grace,” describing it as a surreal experience. Stan’s love for music is a gift that has been bestowed upon him, and he believes that faith can lead individuals to extraordinary heights. Stan enjoys both the touring and studio environments, finding his true calling in the latter. He emphasizes the importance of working smarter rather than just harder and has always been a self-motivated team player who is willing to put in the necessary effort. Having a career that spans almost 30 years in the music industry.

Stan’s musical journey began when he toured with R&B sensation Debra Cox. Then Tamia, Montel Jordan, Mary J Blidge, Jamie Fox, Jesse McCarthy, Catherine McPhee Angie Stone, Fantasia, Danity Kane, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Kendrick Lamar, and Legend Patti LaBelle. Initially, he served as an auxiliary player, but over the years, he has grown to become her Assistant Musical Director, responsible for arranging all of Patti LaBelle’s live shows. Stan has had the privilege of touring the world with Patti LaBelle, describing her as an amazing mentor who has been like a mother to him.

Patti LaBelle’s support extended beyond her musical guidance when she provided Stan with a letter of recommendation, which allow him to enroll in Berklee College of Music. Stan graduated from Berklee with a Bachelor of Music in TV, Film & VideoGames, and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree.

Stanton Lewis has graced the stage of almost every late-night talk show, including Conan O’Brien, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Craig Ferguson, Ellen, Oprah Winfrey, and Jay Leno. His extensive touring has taken him across the globe, performing in major arenas in Sydney, Australia; Tokyo, Japan; Johannesburg, South Africa; Berlin, Germany; London, Paris; Korea; Spain; and Indonesia. Notably, he has toured with Grammy-winning Recording Artist Kendrick Lamar for eight years and has collaborated with him for the iconic Untitled 4 performance on Jimmy Fallon. He also toured with Kiss from a Rose artist Seal. Additionally, he has created and shared piano instruction videos and DVDs on YouTube, amassing over 100,000 views. A versatile musician, Stanton plays multiple instruments, including the piano (his primary instrument), organ, guitar, bass, and drums.

He is a dynamic composer and arranger, and has produced several records and scored a movie. Stan has been a Yamaha Artist since 2007. He firmly believes that Yamaha and its sound have contributed to his success. “Your only as good as what you play on!”
