Tina Guo is a Grammy and BRIT Female Artist of the Year nominee, celebrated for her genre-fluidity as a virtuoso cellist, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, and entrepreneur. Recognized as one of the most recorded solo cellists in film, television, and game soundtracks, her recent projects include major titles such as DUNE, Top Gun: Maverick, Gran Turismo, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Notably, she co-composed the Main Theme for Wonder Woman alongside Hans Zimmer.

Her extensive contributions to soundtracks span acclaimed films like Inception, Pirates of the Carribean 5, Dunkirk, Cyrberpunk 2077, as well as popular video games such as League of Legends and many Call of Duty titles. Tina has also lectured on music entrepreneurship and branding at prestigious institutions, including Princeton University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

As a composer, Tina partnered with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company to create soundtracks inspired by their destinations. She has collaborated with luxury brands like Bentley, composing music for the Bentayga Hybrid SUV launch, and has written for various media, including WWE, NHL Rivals, PGA, and more. Her sample libraries, in partnership with Cinesamples, and the newest with Crowhill are among the best-selling cello solo libraries available.

Tina’s classical performances have graced stages with renowned orchestras, including the San Diego Symphony and the State of Mexico National Symphony. She has toured extensively, performing major cello concertos and participating in charity concerts at the Vatican. Additionally, she headlined Wacken Open Air in 2024 and began her solo tours in fall 2025 across Europe and China.

Her diverse collaborations include working with artists like Skrillex, Justin Bieber, and Joe Bonamassa, with whom she performed at Carnegie Hall. Tina’s television appearances range from the American Music Awards to Dancing with the Stars, showcasing her versatility across genres.

Tina’s musical journey began at the age of three in Shanghai, China, where she started piano lessons. After moving to America, she studied violin and later cello under her father’s guidance. She attended the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music, focusing on classical cello performance. Tina performs on a rare Gand & Bernardel Cello from 1878 and an electric Yamaha SVC-210s, alongside unique instruments like the Erhu and Native American flutes.

Her latest project, “Thre Water Phoenix,” merges Nordic tribal music with Chinese prose, reflecting her ancestral roots. Outside of music, Tina is passionate about her Goldendoodle named Pizza, culinary delights, personal growth, and exploring tribal cultures.

Through her innovative approach and diverse influences, Tina Guo continues to redefine the boundaries of contemporary music, making her a significant figure in both classical and modern genres.
