Allan Zheng is a PhD student in ethnomusicology at the University of California, Riverside. His research focuses broadly on the Cambodian performing arts in Phnom Penh. He received an MA in ethnomusicology in 2021 from the University of California, Riverside and a BA in music from Colorado College in 2019. He played the violin for 13 years and studied Indonesian gamelan for 4 years. Allan is deeply passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts and hopes to make an impact as an educator in the future.
