Austin Shoupe is currently a teaching assistant for the
University of Kentucky Percussion Studio. He was the instrumental music teacher at
Jefferson High School and the marching percussion instructor for the
DeKalb High School Marching Barbs, both in Illinois. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in musical arts in percussion performance at the
University of Kentucky. He has a master of music from the University of Kentucky and a bachelor of music in music education and percussion performance from
Northern Illinois University.
