About Evan Aguilar

Evan Aguilar has been called one of “Albuquerque’s brightest musical lights” (DSCrafts.net), “Exzellente” (Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger) and “engaging” (BroadwayWorld). He is a teacher with Albuquerque Public Schools at Cibola High School and is music director at Immanuel Presbyterian Church. He has performed locally and internationally as a piano soloist and collaborator, most recently performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto in A Major, K. 488, with the Albuquerque Philharmonic Orchestra. Aguilar was recognized as a 2025 Yamaha “40 Under 40” educator and is the New Mexico Music Educator’s Association New/Emerging Teacher of 2026.
