Jeff Connor is a founder of
Boston Brass and helped engineer the meteoric rise of the ensemble’s fame. Conner earned his bachelor’s degree from
Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a master’s degree from
Boston University. A Yamaha Performing Artist, Conner is the co-author of “
The Portfolio Musician: Case Studies in Success,” which looks at the need for today’s musicians to have multiple skills in music. Conner has presented an entrepreneurial clinic on “The Portfolio Musician” at various universities, including the
Yale School of Music and the
New England Conservatory of Music.
