Joel started with Yamaha as an intern in the fall of 1997. His unique experience marching in the Madison Scouts and playing drums in various genres made him a good fit for the Yamaha percussion department. In 2014 he moved to the drum division and is now working as a Marketing Development Specialist for acoustic drums and DTX products. Joel’s passion for music and music education drives him to make music accessible and fun for all.
