John Wittmann is Associate Vice President for the Yamaha Artist Relations Group and leads the team that supports Yamaha Performing Artists both nationally and internationally. Holding two degrees in music, Wittmann was a successful high school band director in New York State. He also toured extensively as a drummer and has given hundreds of drum set clinics. A strong music advocate, Wittmann is a frequent presenter at NAMM, PASIC and other major music conferences.
His other interests include volunteering for Golden Retriever rescues, climbing 14ers in the Rockies, running half marathons and sitting around the firepit in his yard with his wife, Carolyn.
