Tom Ring has been writing, recording and performing music since the eighth grade. He previously worked for Yamaha Music Interactive as a Product Specialist and is currently the Sales Marketing Liaison for the Pro Music division. Originally from Minnesota, Tom moved to California in 1994 — a week before the Northridge earthquake. Despite this welcome, he was determined to pursue music in the Los Angeles area. He has worked for various advertising and marketing agencies, as a recording engineer and music instructor, and in music retail. He continues to teach, write, record and perform throughout Southern California.
