Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of New Hampshire. She brings more than two decades of experience in the higher education market – specializing in the technology and management of teams in various verticals within the post-secondary market. Amy is responsible for leading and overseeing all sales activities for post-secondary educational institutions.
Jun has enjoyed a long association with Yamaha pianos, first as Yamaha Canada Music Ltd’s Institutional Marketing & Artist Relations Manager and now as member of the ISG Team. A classically-trained pianist, Jun graduated with a Bachelor and Masters of Music in piano performance from the University of Toronto, and spent one year with the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Artist Diploma Performance Program. In 2010, he placed 1st in the 3rd Berlin International Amateur Piano Competition held at the Berliner Philharmonie.
Kirk has greatly enjoyed serving in the music industry for over 32 years as both a teacher and Retail Piano Sales Manager. Within his retail responsibilities, Kirk served as the Institutional Sales Manager assisting numerous colleges, universities and other institutions attain their needs in acquiring new pianos and keyboards for their students and faculty. Now as a proud member of the Yamaha ISG team, he looks forward to sharing his passion of nurturing music opportunities.
Dom has worked in the music industry for more than twenty five years as a clinician, product specialist and sales manager. Having worked directly with schools to develop replacement plans for their existing inventory, Dom will be able to devote a great deal of his time to the advancement of pedagogy and technology among music educators. As a keyboardist, Dom worked with diverse performers such as Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli & Meatloaf.
Neal has worked in nearly all parts of the music industry over the past 15 years. As an educator, he taught at the university level for six years and spent three years teaching at the Guangdong Country Garden School in Foshan City, China. As a saxophonist, he has performed around the world as a soloist and as a chamber and orchestral musician. He has also worked with the National Saxophone Museum and Taneycomo Festival Orchestra. Neal joined the Yamaha ISG team in the Fall of 2021 after being a Yamaha Performing Artist for several years.
Dr. Jonathan Kierspe earned his D.M. from Florida State University in Saxophone Performance where he served on faculty as the Saxophone teaching assistant and received his M.M. from Bowling Green State University, where he served as faculty for the woodwind methods teaching department. He earned his B.M. from the University of South Carolina, and has performed and given masterclasses with the Red Hill quartet at The University of Alabama, Columbus State University, Samford University, and Troy University. Jonathan joined the ISG in August of 2022.
Scott Slocum graduated from the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, New York, with a degree in Music Education. After teaching, he worked in the music education branch of two major music retailers before joining Yamaha in 1999 as a District Manager in Band and Orchestra. Scott joined the ISG Team in 2019, and is passionate about Jazz composition, songwriting and arrangement.
